About
Experience a peaceful overnight stay on a working farm in northeast Nebraska, surrounded by gardens, orchards, high tunnels, and a unique geothermal greenhouse. Enjoy wide-open skies, fresh country air, and a relaxing rural setting away from the crowds. Stretch your legs along the half-mile walking trail, explore a certified pollinator habitat, or simply unwind and take in the quiet countryside. Overnight parking is on a designated, level gravel pad that comfortably accommodates recreational vehicles and travel trailers of any size. Farm tours and garden walks may be available upon request, offering a closer look at daily farm life, high-tunnel cultivation, and sustainable growing practices. Seasonally, guests can browse farm-grown products and locally made goods, including fresh produce, honey, teas, herbs, and baked items. Visitors can also explore our innovative geothermal greenhouse, where citrus trees and tender plants thrive year-round beneath the open prairie sky. This welcoming stop is perfect for travelers seeking a comfortable place to rest, recharge, and enjoy an authentic taste of rural Nebraska. Guests can relax at our gathering space west of the grain bins, featuring picnic tables and a fire ring for peaceful evening sunset views. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome with prior approval, though we ask that they stay out of growing areas and that visiting families observe our designated evening quiet hours.

Cultural significance
The property serves as an educational model for sustainable prairie permaculture and energy-efficient agricultural innovation in rural northeast Nebraska. A centerpiece of the farm is an earth-sheltered geothermal greenhouse that harnesses steady sub-surface ground temperatures to nurture citrus trees and fresh produce through severe Midwestern winters. Through its certified pollinator habitat and seasonal community workshops, the homestead actively preserves regional conservation practices and promotes agricultural stewardship.
