About

Haystack Farms is a family-owned, working hay farm. The Lloyds have been farming for at least four generations, and the last two generations have been in beautiful North Central Florida. Currently, our main crop is hay and a specialty sod. We are usually open 8am until sunset (or whenever the work is done) year round. During the summer, we are busiest on the farm with the hay operation. Outside of the hay season, we usually take Sundays off but welcome guests to enjoy the farm views and sunsets seven days a week. Generators are allowed if needed. Our Overnight Stays location is about seven acres (of our 700 ac farm) and borders one of our hayfields so there is a ratio of about one acre per OS spot. Plenty of space between spots to avoid hearing or smelling a neighboring generator if that is a concern. Usually, there are only 1-2 guests on any given night, even though we do have space for many. We also have the space to host a rally. When people do request to use generators, it is in the slow season (& hottest) time during the summer. Are you part of an RV group that enjoys traveling together? We have hosted several friends and family groups, as well as an Airstream group on their way to a larger rally. (See photos) Well-packed, county-maintained dirt road for about 1/2 - 1 mile leading up to the farm. (During the spring, our climate gets a little dry so the roads are dustier than usual.)
